Iran pitches seven-day roadmap to end conflict with US

Iran has proposed a seven-day plan to end the war with the United States, according to Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in New York. The proposal calls for ending hostilities, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, releasing Iran’s frozen assets of at least $12 billion, lifting sanctions on Iranian oil, and ending the naval blockade. It also includes ending hostilities in Gaza and Lebanon within this period and resuming talks on Iran’s nuclear program.
