Iran says it awaits US response on seven-day roadmap to end war

Iran has formally submitted a seven-day roadmap to end its war with the United States and is now awaiting Washington’s response, according to Iran’s top diplomat Abbas Araghchi. He stated the plan was conveyed through Qatar and that the timeline would start once the US accepts it. The plan includes lifting the naval blockade, waiving sanctions on Iranian oil, releasing approximately $12 billion in frozen assets, and observing a regional ceasefire including in Lebanon and Yemen. Iran would then reopen the Strait of Hormuz and begin negotiations for a final deal on its nuclear program.
