Iran says outcome of Israeli elections ‘makes no difference’

Iran’s foreign ministry said the outcome of Israel’s legislative elections would make no difference to Iran. Spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei described the Israeli regime as a source of violence and massacres in the region. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces a tight race, he said he had instructed the Mossad and the Israeli military to overthrow Iran’s government. Baqaei dismissed the remarks as empty threats and a sign of desperation, amid Israeli and US threats to renew attacks on Iran.
