Iran says US no longer in position to 'dictate' policy to other nations

Iran stated that the United States is no longer able to dictate the policies of other nations as Washington considers a new proposal from Tehran regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Defense ministry spokesman Reza Talaei-Nik asserted that the US must abandon its illegal and irrational demands. While a ceasefire has halted fighting, talks for a permanent resolution to the conflict have been inconclusive.
