Iran: Survival Guide Released Amid Risk of a Nuclear Strike

On the night of November 2–3, 2026, Iranian authorities released an eight-minute video, carried by the official IRNA news agency, advising civilians how to respond to a nuclear blast and radioactive fallout. The guide says not to look at the flash, to take cover after the shock wave, move to a basement or central room, and turn off ventilation. If exposed, people should remove clothing without shaking it, wash with soap and water, and stay indoors with bottled water and packaged food. The video came after unverified claims by Tucker Carlson that a U.S. strike on the Pickaxe Mountain site could be imminent; Donald Trump said he would not use nuclear weapons.
