Since the outbreak of the war in the Middle East, Iran has intensified its strikes on the energy infrastructures of its neighbors, notably Saudi Arabia. The SATORP refinery, operated by TotalEnergies and Saudi Aramco, was damaged, leading to a complete halt of its operations. The strikes also affected other Saudi facilities, reducing the kingdom's production capacity by about 600,000 barrels per day. TotalEnergies reported that its production is also impacted in Qatar, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates.
