Iran’s IRGC says it is building underground sites for weapons production and storage

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi said Iran is building underground military complexes that can sustain weapons production and storage under heavy bombardment. The semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that an “underground missile city” is set to be unveiled, while Mohebbi said missile and drone production lines had been rapidly moved underground. He also claimed advances in stealth technology and said IRGC weapons are made using domestic expertise. Mohebbi added that restrictions on the range of Iranian missiles had been lifted.
