In a statement, the party revealed it was contacted to withdraw a correspondence and contested the Minat's classification of the letter that refused to recognize the convention reappointing Maurice Kamto as party leader. The MRC submitted an official response on August 28, asserting that the ministry's approach undermines its autonomy.
