Uba Sani donates vehicles to JNI, CAN and religious communities

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani donated 39 vehicles to Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Islamic groups and Christian denominations to support peaceful coexistence and free and fair elections. His Director General of Interfaith, Malam Tahir Umar Tahir, warned that some politicians may seek to disrupt public peace before, during or after the coming elections. Tahir said the donation included support for Fityanul Islam’s First Aid Groups and that other religious communities could be considered in future. Kaduna representatives of JNI and CAN thanked the governor and pledged to pray for peace and development in the state.
