Isiolo Leaders Threaten to Withdraw Support for Ruto Over Insecurity

Isiolo leaders, led by Governor Abdi Ibrahim Hassan, have threatened to withdraw their support for President William Ruto in 2027 due to rising banditry in the region. They expressed frustration towards Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, stating that their calls for action have gone unanswered. The situation worsened after a bandit attack killed five people, including two police officers, and resulted in the theft of hundreds of livestock.
