Israel vows war with Palestinian Authorities in case of Oct 7-style attack

Israel threatened a "full-scale war" against the Palestinian Authority if it prepares an attack against Israeli forces similar to the one launched by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Defence Minister Israel Katz stated that the military campaign would target the "senior leadership and mechanisms" of the Palestinian Authority and all terror infrastructure in the West Bank. This statement follows a stabbing attack in the northern occupied West Bank, where an assailant was shot and killed by the Israeli military.
