Israeli air strike kills Palestinian woman in Gaza City

An Israeli air strike targeted an apartment building in central Gaza, killing 33-year-old Reem Asaad Awad and injuring two others. Israel claims it targeted a Hamas member but has not provided evidence and is investigating the incident. Since a ceasefire in October 2025, Israel has killed 1,501 Palestinians in Gaza, despite an agreement to allow 600 trucks of humanitarian aid daily, which remains heavily restricted.
