Israeli Elections: President Condemns ‘Racist’ Attacks Against Arab Israelis

Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday condemned what he called “gross” and “racist” attacks against the Arab minority in Israel. His remarks followed accusations of election fraud against Arab parties by the camp of outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Speaking at the presentation of the official election results, Herzog said that violence, whether physical or verbal, had no place in Israel.
