Israeli forces kill four in Gaza as fifth Palestinian dies of wounds

At least four Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza on Monday, while a fifth, Youssef Abu Younis, died from wounds sustained in an attack on a police post in al-Mawasi on Sunday. Two people were killed in Khan Younis, one in a drone attack on al-Musaddar, and Hani Hamed Kahil in a strike on a vehicle in Tal al-Hawa, where five others were wounded. The Israeli military said it targeted Palestinian fighters in three strikes but gave no further details; an attack on a community kitchen minibus in Zeitoun also wounded three people. The Palestinian Ministry of Health says 1,593 people have been killed and 5,748 wounded since the October 2025 ceasefire began.
