Israeli lawmaker writes UN, demands Nnamdi Kanu's release

Israeli Knesset member MK Afef Abed has written to the UN demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, who is currently serving a life sentence in Sokoto for terrorism charges. In his letter, Abed referenced the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention's opinion, which deemed Kanu's detention arbitrary and called for his immediate release. He emphasized the importance of upholding human rights and international law.
