It will always be home — Salmaan Moerat confirms Stormers exit for French giants La Rochelle

Stormers captain Salmaan Moerat will leave the team at the end of the season to join La Rochelle in France. A proud product of the Western Cape, Moerat began his career as captain of Paarl Boys High and later led the Western Province Under-18 team. Since making his Stormers debut in 2018, he has earned 70 caps and has played a key leadership role as club captain for the past two seasons.
