ITA Airways: Exceptional Scene, How a Senegalese Baby Was Born Mid-Flight

A birth occurred on ITA Airways flight AZ855 from Dakar to Rome on the night of May 2. A seven-month pregnant passenger went into labor shortly after takeoff, and the crew, assisted by a doctor and a nurse on board, helped deliver a baby boy. Both mother and child are doing well and were taken care of upon landing at Rome Fiumicino Airport.
