“It’s false, misleading”- Police debunk viral armed bandits video in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has debunked a viral video showing armed men in a forest, stating it does not originate from Nigeria but from Kenya. Police spokesperson DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi clarified that the footage was recorded during an operation against cattle rustlers and has been circulated with a false narrative to create panic. Police Commissioner CP Bode Ojajuni condemned the spread of misleading content and urged the public to disregard the video.
