Ituri: Ebola response activities suspended in the Damas health zone

Ebola response activities have been suspended since September 13, 2026, in the Damas health zone of Djugu territory due to health workers' demands for three months of unpaid risk bonuses and regular supplies of personal protective equipment. All operations against Ebola, including patient care and contact tracing, are halted. Health professionals are conditioning the resumption of their activities on the fulfillment of their demands.
