Ituri: Health workers at Rwampara Ebola treatment center harden strike and abandon patients

Since Monday, July 13, 2026, health workers at the Ebola Treatment Center (ETC) of the Rwampara General Referral Hospital in Bunia have hardened their strike, burning tires and abandoning patients. They protest the non-payment of salaries and bonuses promised by the Minister of Public Health since the epidemic began on May 15, 2026.
