Ituri: In Lita, WFP hands over a logistics base of over 240 m² to the government to strengthen the response against Ebola

On August 26, the World Food Programme (WFP) handed over a logistics base of over 240 m² to the provincial government in Lita, Djugu territory, to strengthen the response against Ebola. This infrastructure includes an office, a dormitory for over 20 people, containers for the laboratory, and storage spaces. The chief medical officer of the health zone, Dr. Patience Pacifique Lokinga, emphasized that this provision addresses a crucial need to improve the operational capacities of health teams.
