'I’ve nothing to hide’ - Sen. Buba submits self to DSS, police over banditry allegations

Shehu Buba Umar, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and Senator for Bauchi South, has voluntarily submitted himself to security agencies for investigation over allegations of banditry and terrorism financing. He stated that these allegations are not new, having emerged previously in 2014, but have resurfaced in different forms. Buba also challenged anyone with evidence to submit it to the appropriate authorities.
