Ivorian Government Plans Budget of 22,315.8 Billion FCFA by 2029

The Ivorian government announced a record budget of 22,315.8 billion FCFA for 2029, up from 17,350.2 billion in 2026. Spokesperson Amadou Coulibaly said GDP growth will average 6.8% per year, driven by business vitality and consumption. The budget will increase stepwise: 18,466.1 billion in 2027, 20,385.3 billion in 2028. The state aims to modernize tax collection to reduce reliance on debt and fund infrastructure and social programs.
