Ivory Coast is definitively eliminated from the qualification race for the 2027 Women's World Cup. Beaten 1-2 by Ghana, the Elephants saw their chances of direct qualification for the World Cup category scheduled for next year in Brazil disappear. This is the first time since 2015 that Ivory Coast has not been qualified for a Women's World Cup final round.
