Ivory Coast/APES 2026: Abidjan at the Heart of African Private Finance

The third edition of the Abidjan Private Equity Summit (APES 2026) was held on June 4-5, 2026 in Abidjan, bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, and institutional representatives. Discussions highlighted the limitations of traditional financing and the opportunities from investment funds, particularly for the energy transition. A dedicated fund for the mining sector is being prepared to support local subcontractors. Commissioner General Jean-André Ahipeaud praised the turnout and emphasized the importance of government involvement.
