Ivory Coast/Business Law: No Women in the List of Leaders of Major Law Firms

The October 2026 issue of Ivoire CEO magazine published a list of fifteen law firms in Ivory Coast, all led by men, with no women included. Despite the presence of experienced female lawyers like Florence Loan-Messan, the first female president of the Ivory Coast Bar Association, and other active professionals, no women are among the top firm leaders. The issue of women's representation and visibility in economic and legal leadership remains, raising questions about the selection criteria used for the ranking.
