Ebola in Beni: In Less Than 24 Hours, 13 Patients Including a Doctor and Two Nurses Discharged from the Treatment Center

Thirteen recovered Ebola patients left the Ebola Treatment Center (ETC) at Beni General Reference Hospital in North Kivu. Eight patients were discharged on October 7, followed by five more on October 8, including a doctor who contracted Ebola while caring for patients. Also among those discharged are two nurses, a pastor, and a one-month-old infant who survived after rapid medical care.
