Touba: Accused of sheep theft, 70-year-old ends his life by slitting his throat

A 70-year-old man, identified by the initials E. H. B. D., was found dead at his home in Touba on September 11, 2026, after being accused by a neighbor of sheep theft. This accusation, seen as an affront to his honor, deeply affected him. The day before his death, he expressed his indignation and planned to go to the neighborhood delegate to denounce the accusations.
