Jigawa approves ₦419m to boost primary healthcare

The Jigawa State Government has approved ₦419.47 million to enhance primary healthcare services and pay allowances to frontline health workers. ₦362.8 million will be allocated to 281 accredited Primary Health Care centres to cover operations from July to December 2025. Additionally, ₦56.67 million will be provided for allowances for health workers, including midwives and Community Health Influencers, to strengthen the state's healthcare system.
