Jigawa Executive Council approves review of 2026 budget

The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved a review of the 2026 Appropriation Law and the proposed supplementary budget to reflect current revenue realities and emerging expenditure priorities. Commissioner for Information, Sagir Musa Ahmed, stated that the review was necessary due to changes in the state's revenue outlook. The revised budget will be forwarded to the Jigawa State House of Assembly for legislative approval.
