Jigawa residents hold three-day prayer for rainfall

Residents of Basirka town in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State held a three-day special prayer, known as Salatul Istisqa, seeking divine intervention for rainfall due to a prolonged dry spell affecting their farms. The prayer, led by Chief Imam Sheikh Sanunu Basirka, gathered hundreds of residents, including farmers and Islamic scholars. Participants also observed a voluntary fast to seek Allah's mercy in light of the concerning situation for their crops.
