Joseph Kabila at the Center of Jean-Claude Muyambo’s Criticism of Katanga’s Division

At a press conference in Lubumbashi, Jean-Claude Muyambo Kyassa, national president of SCODE, accused Joseph Kabila of dividing the former Katanga province into four entities and creating an unequal distribution of resources. He said Tanganyika lacked the financial means to fund its development and criticized the use of SNCC facilities in the province, while pointing to Kolwezi’s economic role in Lualaba. Muyambo contrasted this with road works under Félix Tshisekedi, including routes linking Lubumbashi to Manono and Manono to Ankoro.
