Jubilee Threatens to Expel Ngunjiri Wambugu, Issues 7-Day Ultimatum

Jubilee Party has given former Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu seven days to respond to nine disciplinary charges related to his activities within the party. The disciplinary committee issued a show cause on September 30, 2026, accusing him of forming and promoting the 'Jubilee Aspirants Forum 2027', which was not recognized under party structures. Wambugu is also accused of ignoring a directive from the Secretary General in March 2026, usurping the party leader Fred Matiang'i's authority, and using his personal email to solicit information from aspirants. He is required to respond to each allegation with evidence or explanations.
