Kaizer Chiefs fall further behind Mamelodi Sundowns after home draw with Stellenbosch

Kaizer Chiefs drew 1-1 with Stellenbosch at FNB Stadium, showing they are still far from Mamelodi Sundowns' level, who beat Richards Bay 4-1 to maintain their dominance. Chiefs remain unbeaten in the league but are in fourth place with 14 points, trailing Sundowns with 22 points. Their performance was seen as lacking fluidity and effectiveness, partly due to a defensive formation with four full-backs. The result is considered a disappointment, especially ahead of chairman Kaizer Motaung's birthday.
