Kalonzo Turns to U.S. Over Accountability for Ebola Funds

Kalonzo Musyoka has called on the U.S. Embassy to track how Ebola-related grants and funds given to Kenya have been used, accusing the government of negligence and possible misappropriation. He emphasized that over 1.9 billion KSh provided by the U.S. in July 2026 was meant to strengthen Kenya's Ebola preparedness, but concerns remain about accountability. International support from China and the U.S. has been provided, but Kalonzo urges for transparency and anti-corruption measures.
