Kampala and Dar extend dominance over Nairobi in warehouse rent yield

Kampala and Dar es Salaam posted higher yields on prime warehouse rents compared to Nairobi in the first half of 2026. According to an analysis by Knight Frank, the average yield on rent of a prime warehouse in Nairobi was 9.5%, while it reached 13% in Kampala and 10% in Dar es Salaam. This trend highlights the continued dominance of these two cities over the real estate market compared to the Kenyan capital.
