Saidu Yahaya, the chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, has resigned amid increasing pressure from the state government. His resignation follows public criticisms from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf regarding his alleged non-performance. Yahaya was appointed in August 2025 for a five-year term, succeeding Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado.
