Kano police require 72-hour notice for public durbar, horse-riding activities

The Kano State Police Command has directed individuals, institutions, and organizations planning to hold Durbar or horse- and animal-riding activities in public places to give at least 72 hours' written notice. The measure is intended to allow security agencies to assess the planned activities and make arrangements to ensure safety. Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Adamu Bakori stated this directive follows reports of breaches of the ban on Durbar and horse-riding activities across Kano State.
