Kaolack: three men arrested for 'acts against nature' on Koundam beach

On August 31, 2026, the Urban Security of Kaolack arrested three men suspected of public sexual acts and willful transmission of HIV-1 on Koundam beach. The operation followed reports of suspicious behavior from firefighters. The suspects initially denied the allegations, but evidence from one of their phones led to their admission of the acts. Two of the three men tested positive for HIV-1 and were placed in custody.
