Karim Ziani promoted, Algeria with two simultaneous U17 selections!

The Algerian Football Federation has appointed Karim Ziani as the coach of the U17 team preparing for the 2027 U17 AFCON qualifiers, while Amine Ghimouz focuses on the 2026 U17 World Cup. Ziani will lead a team made up of U16 players, with the first UNAF tournament scheduled in Tunisia at the end of September. His initial squad of 24 players consists entirely of local talents, with Paradou AC being the most represented club.
