KASU-ASUU suspends strike after Kaduna approves agreement

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Kaduna State University (KASU) chapter has suspended its strike following the Kaduna State Government's approval of the implementation of the 2025 Federal Government-ASUU agreement. Implementation of the agreement will commence in October 2026, and the university's Governing Council has also approved the payment of nine months' arrears. The union commended the government's commitment to staff welfare and the development of the university.
