RVA denounces illegal occupation of Muanda airfield land

Louis-Blaise Londole Loko, director general of the Régie des voies aériennes (RVA), has denounced the illegal occupation of airport land in Kongo-Central province. During a visit to Muanda last weekend, he found buildings close to the local airfield runway, some just 100 metres away. He called on provincial governor Grâce Bilolo to help recover land belonging to the RVA. Clearing the sites is necessary for the planned rehabilitation and modernization of the Muanda and Matadi airfields.
