Kebbi ADC crisis deepens as faction rejects Malami-backed congress

A faction of the ADC in Kebbi has rejected the party's congress, calling it illegal and in violation of a court order. The faction's secretary, Adamu Aliyu, stated that the rival group led by Sufiyanu Bala lacked the legitimacy to act on behalf of the party. Aliyu also asserted that Abdulrazaq Iko remains the authentic state chairman of the ADC, recognized by both the court and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The faction will await the outcome of ongoing legal proceedings before conducting any legitimate congress.
