Kempinski Palace Douala: BGFI Bank Cameroon pre-financed over 13 billion FCFA in studies

BGFI Bank Cameroon pre-financed over 20 million euros (more than 13.1 billion FCFA) for the technical studies of the Kempinski Shekinah Palace in Douala, prior to construction. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on September 25, 2026, in Bonanjo, led by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute and Rodolphe Simo Kam, CEO of ALS Group. The project's total cost is estimated at 222.6 billion FCFA, with a financing plan including a debt of 92.3 billion FCFA.
