Kenge Crash: Flags at Half-Mast Across the Entire DRC Starting Monday

The Congolese government announced that flags will be flown at half-mast across the country starting September 28 until the victims of the Kenge plane crash in Kwango are buried. The crash resulted in 17 deaths, including military officers Lieutenant-General Joseph Mutombo, President of the High Military Court, and Lieutenant-General Lucien-René Likulia, the Army's Chief Auditor. Three days of national mourning will precede the funerals, and an investigation has been launched to establish the causes of the accident.
