Fitch has lowered its growth forecasts for Kenya to 5.0% and for DRC to 5.2%, while Ethiopia's is now at 8.0%. Fitch also warned that Tanzania is particularly vulnerable due to its reliance on fuel and fertilizer imports from Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
