Kenya Establishes New Diplomatic Relationship With Solomon Islands

Kenya has formally established diplomatic relations with the Solomon Islands, announced by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi after signing a Joint Communiqué with Solomon Islands Minister for Foreign Affairs Rick Nelson Houenipwela during the UN General Assembly. This new relationship aims to foster cooperation in trade, the blue economy, climate action, and skills exchange. Mudavadi emphasized that this partnership will create opportunities for young people and entrepreneurs in Kenya.
