Kenya faces a bleak petroleum supply outlook after the shutdown of a key pipeline in Saudi Arabia due to drone attacks. The 1,200-kilometre pipeline, which bypassed the Strait of Hormuz, was essential for crude oil exports. Energy Minister Opiyo Wandayi stated that the closure complicates the situation for Kenya, which relied on this infrastructure for fuel imports.
