Kenya, India Agree New Trade Pact to Ease Goods Flow in Ksh282 Billion Market

Kenya and India signed a customs agreement in Nairobi, committing both governments to share cargo information before goods arrive at their borders. This agreement, signed by the Kenya Revenue Authority and India's Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, aims to transform trade flows worth Ksh282 billion. Discussions also focused on market access and tariff issues, with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and technology sectors.
