Kenya Met Predicts Rains in Western, Nyanza, Rift Valley & Central Kenya This Weekend

The Kenya Meteorological Department forecasts moderate to heavy rains in parts of the country from April 3 to April 7, 2026. Light rains are expected in counties such as Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, and Trans Nzoia, along with other counties in the western and Rift Valley regions. Very cold nights could drop to 6°C in some areas, while coastal counties are predicted to experience high daytime temperatures.
